Austin, Texas – Austin Police revealed the identity of the man who was killed in wrong way crash in North Austin on I-35.
The man was identified as 67-year-old Jose Rufino Cortez De Paz. The crash took place on February 21 around 2:30 p.m. in the 10300 block of N. IH-35 SB.
De Paz crashed into a tractor trailer after driving in the wrong direction. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
The investigation is still ongoing.
