A Police Inspector who served as the head of the Police post outside President’s House in Nuwara Eliya was interdicted as he had behaved in an unruly manner after consuming alcohol.
He was arrested on Saturday (24) by the Nuwara Eliya Police.
The officer attached to Keerthi Bandarapura Police Station had been called to Nuwara Eliya for special duties and was assigned to the Police post outside the President’s House.
