62-year-old man, Ogungbemi David and his son, Ogungbemi Idowu, have been arrested by Osun State Police Command for allegedly raping a 14-year-old niece.
Naijaparry.com.ng gathered that the rape victim was living with one Ester Ogungbemi, who was her father’s sister in Ilare, Obokun Local Government Area of Osun state.
The duo of father and his son were alleged to have defiled the girl and had intercourse with her by force.
It was gathered that the girl became pregnant thereafter, thus propelled her father to report to the police.
The Police Public Relations Officer, Mrs Yemisi Opalola, confirmed the arrest of the suspects, saying they have been detained at the State Criminal Investigation Department.
She said the Commissioner of Police has ordered investigation into the matter, assuring that justice would be done.
