The Polaris Slingshot is a three wheeled motorcycle and not an automobile as one might believe. It does not have air bags and does not meet the automotive standards for a car. What it does give you is a thrilling shared experience with an open cockpit. This lightweight body comes with a 2.4 litre DOHC engine with a 5 speed manual transmission box. Other car like features include an electronic power assisted steering, electronic stability control, tilt steering and ABS disk brakes. Safety features include LED taillights and projector beam headlights, 3 point seatbelts and a high strength steel spaceframe. Three models are available and range from USD20000 to USD25000.
