Poetry: Religion

By Jaideep Khanduja @PebbleInWaters
She gave me birth without letting me know
what religion we carried
I was totally a neat and clean slate
at the time of my birth
To show me the world She pulled me out
of my mother's womb
A nurse of opposite religion
but knew that religion has nothing to do here
He taught me the biggest of lessons of life
when i fell, he taught the importance of falling
and learning to stand and finally not to fall
A teacher of another religion, my thoughts-builder
