I'll admit it, I am an ankle boot addict. When the weather turns cold/wet and I can no longer wear sandals, I'm straight into boots - I'm not fussed by pumps, and live in sandals, trainers or boots. Now it is definitely not sandal weather, it is time to embrace boots and I need to add a new pair to my collection. I'm always on the hunt for a pair of flat boots that I can wear both at work and more casually outside of work - Chelsea boots, you are the one! Now I'm not one for the preppy Alexa Chung look, and to be honest have always associated Chelsea boots with this sort of horsey/Jack Wills look. That just aint me! After a brief scour of Pinterest (all the above images) I soon learnt there are so many ways to style Chelsea boots and make them your own. I have to say I'm not the most creative of people, so a little creative styling advice here and there doesn't go a miss! I have to admit I don't think I'll be wearing Chelsea boots with a midi dress and Lennon sunnies (I'm not that cool), but I can see me wearing them a la Clemence Poesy with skinnies (the joys of skinny ankles) and knitwear. There are some brilliant Chelsea boot designs out there at the moment, which really isn't helping my October spending ban! I definitely prefer the shorter styles to avoid looking too much like I've stepped out of the stables, but am still torn over tan or black. Decisions, hey?!Are you a Chelsea boot fan?Whistles, KG at ASOS, London Rebel at ASOS*sponsored post
