POEM: Dark Passage

rolling in darkness,
the hull rolling against bone,

insides rolling toward the outside
constant motion without visual reference
spurring other sensory experiences:

retching & wailing,
bile scent & bile taste,
organ churning

creaking,
dampness,
saltiness,

headache,
heartache,
