The Plex streaming service has added over 80 free live TV channels to its existing catalog. The ad-supported channels are accompanied by new shows, including news from Reuters and Yahoo Finance, children's shows, a lifestyle channel, sports, games and two new LGBTQ + channels from Revry.
the Free Live TV will be made available to all, in all 220+ countries that Plex serves. All you need to do is sign up for Plex to use it for free on Roku, Apple TV, Android, and iOS as well as browsers.
If you use the app, it also supports live TV tuners and the Tidal music service. One can also stream content from a connected hard drive or host computer through the Plex server.
Please note that the free "channels" for these services are different from the standard network TV channels available on services such as Sling TV and YouTube TV. The free channels offered by platforms like Plex are generally much less well known and more limited. But if someone is looking to save money on streaming, having more choices in free TV can't hurt, right?
