In the pursuit of eternal youth and beauty, some celebrities are ready for dramatic measures. Although plastic surgery is not what we percept as something dramatic per se, but if taken in excess, it might cause really disastrous outcome.

Mickey Rourke and Donatella Versace. Each has an impressive body of work. But also, both their names often come up at the mention of plastic surgery mishaps.
Let’s have a look at celebrities who went overboard with their desire to look better or younger. And let’s see what they’ve learned on the way.
Donatella Versace, 63. The one thing that doesn’t change about Donatella is her mane of blonde hair. But if we compare her today’s look to what she used to look like decades ago, we’d see striking differences. Plastic surgeons say the Italian fashion designer appears to have undergone a nose job, lip augmentation and a facelift. But Donatella famously evades the subject. So far, she’s only admitted to taking proper care of her hair and skin, and using Botox – only on her face. Fun fact: Donatella says she ditched her personal trainer as he wouldn’t let her smoke.
Courteney Cox, 54. The actress who brought the beloved Monica Geller to life has admitted to undergoing certain beauty procedures. And she has publicly discussed her regrets about those choices. Luckily, the fillers have now dissolved and gone away. Cox says she’s as natural as she can be, and is glad to look like herself again. What’s her main take-away from this? The actress says she realized that “everything is going to drop” and embraced her natural smile lines.
Meg Ryan, 56. When she appeared at the 2016 Tony Awards show after a long time out of the public eye, many have noticed how different she looks. The actress herself is yet to admit she’s asked plastic surgeons for help. In 2015, Ryan expressed her concerns of aging in Hollywood. She said she’d prefer if people would focus on things that are much more important than judging women and gossiping. The actress said she loves her age and her life right now, and the person that she’s evolved into.
Priscilla Presley, 73. “What happened to aging gracefully?” and “Why does her face look like a scary mask?” are the kind of insensitive questions observers ask when talking about Elvis Presley’s ex-wife. It turns out, she fell victim to botched cosmetic procedures in the past at the hands of an incompetent doctor. Imagine having industrial low-grade silicone injected into your face! In July, Presley appeared at a public event sporting a bandage across her nose, perhaps after the attempt to undo the damage.
Mickey Rourke, 66. He is an American actor, screenwriter and boxer whose name has become synonymous with plastic surgery. Just a year ago, the actor had yet another nose job done. Over the years, he has explained how his boxing career was the main reason he needed to rebuild his face. Unfortunately, as Mickey puts it, he went to the wrong guy.
