Piwiarnia, Bialystok

By Richard Randall @aude11360

While heading towards Lithuania, we stopped of in Bialystok for a few nights. We popped in Piwiarnia, a basement bar in the main square in Bialystok. I’ve not even sure that Piwiarnia is its proper name, but is was above the door.
It is a small bar and when we visited at lunch time it was mainly older men supping a beer and watching the football on the television. Draught beer selection is a bit of a let down with only Zubr and Zywiec on offer, but there is also a decent selection of about a dozen bottled beers.
While there are a great deal of places to enjoy a beer in Bialystok, this bar is good because it is central, quite and the service was friendly and because of all it was very good value.

It is located on the corner of Aleja Bluesa and Rynek Kosciuszki.
