Pitts Special X-2C

Canadian airshow performer Stefan Trischuk taxies by in his Pitts X-2C after arriving at Madras for the Airshow of the Cascades.  A one-off custom build, this two-seat Pitts has a roll rate of 360 deg/sec and can handle +8/-6 G’s during an aerobatic performance, and holds the title of highest performance aerobatic biplane in Canada.  Designed by Curtis Pitts, this classic biplane first flew in 1944 and remains in production.  Nikon D300 w/80-400mm.
