Pitbull, at 41, shared a clip of the scene on Instagram, highlighting the unexpected use of his song, which marked his first Billboard Hot 100-number-one single and notably features Ne-Yo, Afrojack, and Nayer.
While “Bridgerton” typically leans towards playful tunes from artists such as Taylor Swift and Sia, Pitbull’s song stood out. Showrunner Jess Brownell revealed in a recent interview with Business Insider that she personally chose the track after receiving a playlist from the show’s music supervisor, Justin Kamps.
