Pitbull, the renowned American rapper and singer, recently added his praise to the chorus of voices lauding the Netflix hit series “Bridgerton” for its cleverness. “Bridgerton” has garnered attention for its inclusion of instrumental covers of popular songs by artists like BTS, Nick Jonas, Sia, Billie Eilish, and Taylor Swift. Pitbull, at 41, shared a clip of the scene on Instagram, highlighting the unexpected use of his song, which marked his first Billboard Hot 100-number-one single and notably features Ne-Yo, Afrojack, and Nayer.

While “Bridgerton” typically leans towards playful tunes from artists such as Taylor Swift and Sia, Pitbull’s song stood out. Showrunner Jess Brownell revealed in a recent interview with Business Insider that she personally chose the track after receiving a playlist from the show’s music supervisor, Justin Kamps. Brownell recalled being initially struck by the song’s incredible build, despite not being a regular Pitbull listener.

For Brownell, ‘Give Me Everything’ resonated perfectly with the scene’s theme, capturing the culmination of years of friendship and Penelope’s unspoken affection for Colin. In her view, the energetic track surpassed slower romantic songs, amplifying the emotional impact of the pivotal moment on screen.
