This Piper Malibu Mirage taxies for takeoff on a rainy day at San Carlos Airport. First flown in 1979, the Malibu is a six-seat aircraft with a pressurized cabin. One of three in the market at that time, the Malibu is the only one still in production. The Malibu Mirage variant came out in 1989 with a new engine and wing.
