Designed two years after the J-3 “Cub”, the J-5 “Cub Cruiser” was a larger, more powerful version with a wider fuselage with the pilot sitting in the front seat and two passengers sitting in the rear seat.  The Cruiser sold for $1,995 when it was first designed.  First flown in 1939, more than 1500 of this model were produced.  Nikon D7100 w/18-200 mm, processed with Aperture.
