Pip Hall – ‘Fire’
My Little Empire Records signing Pip Hall releases ‘Fire’ – the latest single from her forthcoming album (out this summer). Produced on her laptop, this song finds the Preston-based singer-songwriter laying bare her fears, anxieties and worries while criticising some of the choices she has made over the years: ‘My head is a place like hell on Earth’; ‘running from flames’. That this is wrapped up in Haim-esque melodies, bright synths and an irresistibly short running time makes it all the better.
