File this post under things that Pinterest made will make me do. Scrolling through Pinterest without a doubt can often times be an exercise in going down a black hole to the point of no return, with the day I stumbled across a photo of a messy hair bun, tied with a pretty scarf no exception. Of course, scarves are no novel idea. The idea of using scarves as a hair accessory also isn't a revolutionary concept. What is new to me however is the the lack of effort and care I now spend on my appearance as the mom of a toddler. Most mornings, I'd rather just sleep in until the last possible second and forgo doing my makeup, or anything with my hair. Seeing as though this new reality finds my hair in a bun 90% of the time, my new intrigue with pretty scarf hair accessories makes sense. Added bonus - hair scarves are super cheap. It's a win in my book.
