The sunshine popped out this weekend so I was full steam ahead with switching from my oversized warm knits, to my spring time wardrobe with my cigarette trousers. I wasn't one of those typically annoying Brits, (who I did spy) that were in their flip flops, sunglasses, shorts and vest -I simply wanted to look and feel good in some bright colours.
I was off out for some lunch with a friend of mine on Sunday and we said we'd go to this lovely place called Goodliffes. They have seats on the front but tucked away out the back is a great decked area with tables, so we decided to go sit and have lunch out there. We did debate if to opt for a jug of Pimms, but after careful consideration we said it was a bit pre-mature as really Pimms needs to be indulged only when its gorgeous warm weather. 
I'd seen these vibrantly pink trousers from Next and just had to have them. I used to be very hesitant with exciting trousers as I feel like I'm standing out too much, but the last few season I've been all about the fun leg wear. 
The floral jacquard cigarette trousers are perfect
for many occasions this SS13; lunch dates, dinner party, drinks with
friends and so on. They do feel superb when they're on and feel slightly
elasticated so you don't feel restricted. 
The entire look actually features mainly from Next, I hadn't realised but when I've just come to tell you what I'm wearing I've just noticed! The beauty about Next is its all high quality with a reasonable price tag.

Lunch was delicious and I felt wonderful looking out of my sunnies, admiring the blue sky and the warm breeze. Bliss. Can every weekend not just be like that? I did see blossom on the trees as I walked to work the other morning, so maybe we are going to be having more pleasant days ahead.
