Dreaming of a destination island wedding overlooking the deep blue sea? Well, today’s pink and lilac wedding in Santorini is for you! Stacey and Chris planned a perfect wedding in Santorini, Greece, where the natural beauty and the gorgeous sunset can enchant you! The ceremony was held in the Santorini Gem, a venue with a breathtaking view and a dreamy decoration. The beautiful bride dreamed of a romantic, warm wedding with a fairytale decoration, so she chose sweet colors like pink, lilac and white/cream. The guest’s tables were adorned with vintage, romantic details such as cages, birds, pink and lilac flower designs and many petals. You won’t want to miss a single image from this wedding captured by Nathan Wyatt Photography!

“We met at a party on the Palm Jumeriah Dubai in 2011 (We are UK Expats living in Dubai) Chris proposed in April 2016 in Krabi Thailand at the Tubkaak Boutique Resort, voted one the most romantic hotels in Thailand”, the bride shared with us.

“My wedding dress was from The Wedding Shop Dubai and was mermaid/trumpet style. I found the style that suited me in the UK whilst shopping with my Mum, however I wanted to come back to Dubai and have one more look. I fell in love with my wedding dress immediately. The ruffles at the bottom sold it for me, they really created that romantic feel that I wanted. It had everything I was looking for in one dress; a sweetheart neckline, lace, a little bit of sparkle and a ruffle skirt. I would sneak a peep at it regularly in my apartment and never failed to gasp when I unzipped the bag. It was stunning.”

“My bouquet was made up of roses and mini roses and were pink, lilac and cream, with lace around the bottom. Tied around my bouquet was a pendant with a photograph of my late nan and uncle so they would be with me and my dad walking down the aisle.”

“The ceremony took place in the Santorini Gem, Santorini, Greece. Chris loves sea views and I love the sun. We had a lovely holiday to Kefalonia, Greece in 2014 and have wonderful memories of Greece. Santorini is so romantic, and we fell in love with those white and blue backgrounds. Greek people are so friendly. We love their hospitality. The Santorini Gem was beautiful and allowed us to hold both the ceremony and reception there, meaning we would not need to transport our guests and everyone could make the most of the whole day.”

“I wanted a romantic feel and therefore chose birdcages as table centerpieces with lace overlays to capture that romantic mood. I chose pink and lilac, white/creams for the colors of the wedding to compliment Santorini’s white and blue background. Rose petals were scattered on the tables and candles contributed to the romantic feel.”

“I organized a sweet table with glass jars and colored ribbon in the colors/concept. I concentrated on attention to detail and had a number of signs, welcome bags in the guest’s hotel rooms ready for their arrival that included a welcome booklet detailing information about the weekend. Fairy lights were scattered above the dance floor and the dinner tables to create a romantic feel. I also had Greek dancers and musicians for that authentic Greek feel.”

“Everyone advised us about a videographer and initially my husband was not overly keen, but we are so glad we decided upon Andreas, we even booked him for 2 extra hours the week of the wedding to capture the dancers and fireworks. He was well worth the money and we are so glad we are able to watch our memories again. It sounds cliché but it’s so true that your wedding day is over in a flash.”
