“Ray and I met two years ago. I was out visiting my sister in Virginia Beach and met him the first night I was there. We spent most days together during those two weeks getting to know one another. For a year our relationship was long distance and we managed to see each other every so often. We finally decided I should move out to live with him and we knew rather quickly that we wanted to spend the rest of our lives together. So, we didn’t hesitate.”, the bride shared with us. Inspired by their love this couple infused their pink and gold wedding with a lot of romance! Shannon and Ray had an intimate wedding in beautiful Santorini. The combination of the blue sea, the white small houses and the impressive sunset make the perfect combination for an unforgettable, gorgeous wedding and the ideal destination for two lovebirds. They enjoyed a dinner just for the two of them, in a balcony overlooking the calm sea with a warm, romantic atmosphere. The balcony was adorned with an elegant table in pink and gold color tones, a flower bouquet with fresh roses and many candles and fairy lights. All together made the perfect combination!

“Both of us knew that we didn’t want a big over the top wedding, but rather something more intimate and meaningful. We were both interested in a destination wedding and I mentioned Santorini. I showed him pictures of the beautiful balcony’s overlooking the water and the charming towns that sat upon the edge of the cliffs. It was surreal, and we instantly knew that Santorini would be the most romantic and memorable place for us to get married. Eight months later we wed there, and we would not take that moment back for one second. It was the most amazing experience of our lives and we cherish our wedding day and how blessed we were to be able to spend it in such a beautiful place.”
