It also goes into detail about some of the Do’s and Don’ts on how to use Pinterest effectively for your business. Some of the Do’s are use it for promotions/contests, promote your business products, align your Pinterest boards with the site demographics, use other social networks to direct visitors to your Pinterest account. Some of the Don’ts include: don’t spam, don’t over promote your products, don’t put to much text within the images, don’t pin everything to one board, and don’t leave your account a ghost town.
