Out with Disney’s Zendaya Coleman and in with Nickelodeon’s Alexandra Shipp. Lifetime has casted the 23 year old new girl as the new Aaliyah in the controversial film Aaliyah: Princess of R&B., and recited Wendy Williams as executive producer. “I’m excited to exec produce the Aaliyah @lifetimetv movie w/ @DebraMChase. Prod starts later this month and @AlexShipppp will play Aaliyah,” Wendy Williams tweeted.
