The branch of English Cake branch in Bet Shemesh (in the Neimi Mall) is closing its doors. It is a shame, as they made the best shakshouka of all the cafes in Bet Shemesh. Regardless, the business taking its spot is Cofix - the coffee chain that has opened around the country selling coffee for 5nis a cup, among other things.
Cofix is finally opening in Bet Shemesh. I don't know how they will be able to pay the rent long term in a prime location like the Neimi Mall (I read when they first opened their chain that they were taking less than prime locations so as to not have high overheads to pay) while charging 5nis a cup, but I wish them luck.
