[Pics!] The Black Panther Purple Carpet Hollywood Premiere Was Lit!

Black Panther premiered in Hollywood on Monday night, and Black Excellence was everywhere!

Marvel’s Black Panther rolled out the purple carpet at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood. And the film stars, Chadwick Boseman, Lupta Nyong’o,  Angela Bassett, Danai Gurira, Michael B. Jordon, and more were on hand for the premiere.

Angela Bassett, who plays Ramonda (Chadwick Boseman’s mother) in the film looked amazing in a yellow fringed jumpsuit by Naeem Khan.

“This is the night you can be over the top — we are in Wakanda, right? It’s bold, it’s bad, it’s beautiful,” she told ET about her outfit. “It’s all about colors, all about heat, and I think we’re bringing that tonight on the purple carpet.”

Lupita Nyong’o gave us purple goddess feels when she made her appearance on the carpet.

It looks like all of Black Hollywood came out to support the film, including Jamie Foxx, Martin Lawrence,  singer Janelle Monae, Sterling K. Brown, Ryan Michelle Bathe,  Usher, Tessa Thompson, Snoop Dogg, and Ava DuVernay, and Storm Reid from the upcoming Disney movie  A Wrinkle In Time came out to support.
