Everybody’s homegirl, Taraji P. Henson has been doing major press for the Friday release of her movie Proud Mary. In the movie, Taraji plays a professional hit woman in a Boston crime family.
On Monday while doing Press in New York for the film, the actress was given a dinner at the high end eatery, Zuma hosted by Television personality Bevy Smith.

“The reason I had to do this film was because usually women after we get 40 they send us out to pasture.”
“My point is we see men of all ages over 40 … and they always get these heroic roles. Why don’t you see women like this? All of my friends in the industry look amazing and they’re quite athletic. Why aren’t we all in films like this every year.”
