Close friends, Mary J. Blige and Simone Smith teamed up with the American Cancer Society to launch their "Sister Love Jewelry" pop up shop at the Aloft Long Island City Hotel on Saturday.
Guest who attended the event had the opportunity to shop Simone's entire collection of jewelry, while sipping on a beverage.
Sister Love is a jewelry line inspired by the friendship of the two ladies from the NYC, Simone, the wife of LL Cool J, was raised in Queens and Mary in Yonkers.
Mary J. and Simone took time to pose onstage with American Cancer survivors.

Simone, who in 2004 was diagnosed with and beat stage 3 chondrosarcoma, a rare bone cancer, donated a portion of the proceeds to the American Cancer Society.

Sister Love is a collection of designs that symbolizes strength, edge, style, and sassiness made in the ladies support for each other and their love of statement pieces. The line was designed to inspire women to be strong, fearless, empowered and to "wear what you want...because you CAN!"
