The digital marketplace – has officially revealed the artist series for their recent NFT residency program, in collaboration with PhotoVogue. Interestingly, this is Vogue’s initial NFT experience. So, this partnership is the giant media company’s access into Web3. Hence, what is the Voice Residency program?

What is the Voice Residency program?

The Voice Residency Program, together with PhotoVogue, concentrates on empowering the voices of underrepresented and marginalized communities. Its purpose is to strengthen the power of storytelling and photography and the attention of different artists from all over the world.

That is to say, the NFT residency was a month-long virtual experience. During this residency program, Voice helped PhotoVogue portfolio of photographers learns how to successfully navigate Web3. Artists attended digital workshops and mentoring sessions which helped them understand NFT photography.

Regarding NFT Photography, Alessia Glaviano, President of Global PhotoVogue said: “Every day we hear someone say that photography is dying. Well, I am sure that photography is very much alive instead, and though new functions and meaning It will find, but its power and magic will never be there. NFTs and blockchain potentially open up a new world for all this magic to unfold and for the photographers to express themselves”.

The PhotoVogue Residency series is available on Voice. This recent NFT residency program from Voice follows the initial few programs, that featured important names like Azu Nwagbogu, Kimberly Drew and Chad Knight.
