We’ve all heard the saying “Art Imitates Life.” But the Bottleneck Gallery, based in Brooklyn, NY is currently hosting an exhibit where TV becomes art quite literally. The exhibit features paintings that were inspired by cable TV series such as Dexter, Game of Thrones, Boardwalk Empire, Weeds, Sex and the City and of courseTrue Blood entitled More Than You Imagined: Art Inspired by Premium Cable.

The show opened September 7th and closes on September 28th. So if you’re in the Brooklyn area anytime before the 28th be sure to check out this incredible exhibit at the Bottleneck Gallery. For the rest of us, the collection of paintings is also availble for viewing and buying here. Check out the paintings below that were inspired by True Blood, some of which feature Sookie (Anna Paquin), Eric (Alexander Skarsgård), and Jessica (Deborah Ann Woll):
