“Photoart 3: Market Vendors” / Kiunga, Western Province, Papua New Guinea / June 2013
Papua New Guineans seem to really prefer bright colors for their clothing, buildings and ornaments as can be seen in this photo of vendors selling root crops and smoked fish. In a way, this helps photographers and painters make their images more lively but sometimes I have to tone down and balance the bright colors during photo processing as they can also be distracting.
