Sometimes you just want to enjoy a delicious and well-balanced meal before watching a movie. This happened to me when we were at Shangri-La Plaza Mall for a private screening. Since the movie begins at 9:30pm, we decided to look for a restaurant near Shang Cineplex. That is where we saw Pho Hoa.
Pho Hoa restaurant is the largest Vietnamese fast-casual dining chain in the world. They specialize in healthy and delicious Vietnamese noodle soups and offer a range of well-balanced meals perfect for the health conscious.
Their noodles looked good but we opted for their Fried Rice Paper Roll with Pork and Vermicelli for starters and Rice Plates - Beef Brisket on Rice and Sauteed Chicken and Mushroom on Rice instead.
Fried Rice Paper Roll with Pork and Vermicelli
Beef Brisket on Rice
Sauteed Chicken and Mushroom on Rice
What I love about these three is the tenderness and balance of taste. I was expecting the beef and chicken to be tough because that always happens in restaurants, right? But Pho Hoa was different. No wonder there were so many people of all ages dining there. And though simple, the dishes they serve were delightful, too. It wasn't oily and it didn't make us feel uncomfortably stuffed. Just right!
Maybe next time, I will try their amazing noodle soup. Pho Hoa offers a great selection such as Seafood Noodle Soup and Beef Stew! Do you have a recommendation? Comment down below!
Happy eating!
