Pharrell Williams is a man of many talents – super producer, clothing designer and vocalist are just a few that come to mind, but Skateboard P is about to add the title of “environmental bad ass” to his resume and blow us away with something dope. In collaboration with G-Star, Pharrell and Bionic Yarn will be creating an eco friendly clothing line made entirely from recycled plastic from the ocean called RAW for the Oceans. Say what?! As creative director of Bionic Yarn, Williams is passionate about delivering premium products that are also environmentally conscious. The genius Ocean initiative seeks to promote sustainable fashion made from recycled products that can be repurposed to create something cool – like turning the ocean’s plastic waste into jeans. The eco-friendly collection drops August 2014 and we can’t wait to see what Pharrell pulls off next.
