PGCPSS is holding two job fairs and will hire 100 bus drivers. Job fairs take place October 19th at the Glenn Dale Splash Park, 10am – 2pm & October 22nd at Lake Arbor Elementary School, 9am - 1pm. The salary starts at $10.03 per hour, with the opportunity to advance to full time at $16.68. Benefits include health insurance, dental, vision and retirement plans. Seems as though no one is happy with Gov. O’Malley’s redistricting map but Gov. O’Malley, which leaves me to wonder what’s up with him I’ve been a little lax on this subject and don’t fully understand WHAT was the purpose of O’Malley’s redistricting plan when almost everyone has been left sorely disappointed.
I hate to be the one to poo-poo on the Purple line but it just doesn’t look like it’s going to benefit this County all that much. Most of the stops seem to be in Montgomery County.
