Former Mayor of Capitol Heights ADMITS spending campaign funds on personal use, State Senator C. Anthony Muse set to announce his U.S. Senate bid tonight at The Camelot, Blair Underwood launches line of Suits with K&G Fashion Superstore, Will Redistricting take away Bowie’s clout?

Darrell Miller, former mayor of Capitol Heights 2006-2010, admitted in Anne Arundel County Circuit Court that he spent $1000 intended for his District 7 County Council seat campaign on personal expenses.  He was sentenced to 2 years of supervised probation, 300 hours of community service, and $2000 in fines.

Bowie’s Mayor Robinson is concerned that with the new redistricting plan could cause a loss of a state delegate, thereby reducing it’s influence with the state legislature. Currently there are 2 delegates for Bowie.  New redistricting boundaries would leave them with just the one and double the size of District 23b while cutting the size of District 23a in half.
