Salindu Malshika’s alias ‘Kudu Salindu’s’ mother has filed a petition at Court of Appeal asking for safety of her son Kudu Salindu in Police custody yesterday (14 March). Following the application, court of appeal asked the Attorney General to inform court of their stance on the matter on 20 March.
Kudu Salindu, alongside local drug baron Nadun Chinthakaalias ‘Harak Kata’ wasarrested in Madagascar for drug trafficking charges earlier this month (01 March) and extradited to Sri Lanka. Today (15 March) the two criminals were brought back to the country by the CID under Police protection.
