A lot of us own dogs and cats and try to give them the best of our attention. They are part of our family and should treat them as members. When we go out for vacations, we try to take them along. In downtown Blue Ridge you can find some very dog-friendly restaurants. The patio of Treo is a great spot for a family dinner. Here you can enjoy some southern fare in a casual setting. Try their mouth-watering steaks or the meatloaf sandwich. Their seafood and burgers are also worth trying.

For dessert order the cheesecake. They are famous for their terrific selection of Bourbon as well. Between 4 pm-7 pm is their yappy hour and it is good to go around 6:30 pm. Call before you go to check if they have live music for the night.

If you are in the mood for a pizza, walk into the Blue Jeans Pizza & Pasta. They serve appetizers, salads, burgers, pizza, strombolis, calzones, subs, pasta, wraps, and more. Dine at the outdoor tables where your pup is welcome.

If you like beer, stop by at the Grumpy Old Men Brewing to taste their craft beers. This place is usually busy and most of their customers come with their dogs. After a tiring day, you will enjoy relaxing at your pet friendly cabin rental.

Most log cabins come loaded with modern comforts to make you feel at home. Feel free to use the hot tub, the fire-pits, the game rooms, and the kitchen throughout your stay. Dogs stay free and get their food and water bowls, complimentary treats, a bed, and beach towels.
