Is this post published too soon? I think not.
Valentine's Day is near, what with news stations doing a quick feature on flowers and animal couples, and a
mall-wide sale just a few days away. While I am not a huge supporter of this tradition, I do know a couple of things:
1. It’s a tradition. Since the Middle Ages, people have honored St. Valentine, the patron saint of romantic causes. We might as well continue with the tradition, since it's been around for a long time.
2. Love inspires creativity. Love is a feeling, and people express it in different ways, though mostly through poems, paintings and whatnot. (I'm usually inspired when I'm heartbroken, though.)
Pragmatic (materialistic?) me believes in gift-giving, regardless of the occasion. So here's my own list of Valentine's Day gift ideas that someone--if I had a significant other--might want to throw my way when the day of luuuuurve comes.
Presenting,
1. Couple tumblers
2. Couple pillow cases
3. Accessories/Necklaces/Lockets
"You're the anchor to my ship." LOL
4.
Customized phone cases So some super sweet couples can go around have cases like this made. LOL
5. Any fragrance
I love the lavender notes in Love Spell. Body mist available on Lazada.
That's it. Can't think of anything I would find sweet or inexpensive enough as a Valentine's day gift. I prefer tiny trinkets over fancy trips and expensive dinners, which explains why my list fits a teenager's than a full-grown woman's.
Anyone want to share their own list?
