Plot: In order to restore their dying safe haven, the son of Poseidon and his friends embark on a quest to the Sea of Monsters to find the mythical Golden Fleece while trying to stop an ancient evil from rising.

Verdict: Clash Of The Titans For Kids

Story: What happens to all these children the Greek Gods have, well they end up at summer camp. The half-bloods as they are known are protected but when they are put at risk they have to do the old mission with an unlikely team. Following on from the miss-adventures from the first film we learn all about destiny, accepting others as well as yourself. The newest creatures are bigger and balder, while everything is left open for the next chapter of the series of books. (7/10)

Actor Review

Logan Lerman: Percy Jackson the reluctant hero who has been coasting on the success of his first quest, letting the other half-bloods take more of the quest while he has daddy issues. He really is a hero in the making, but only when he wants to be. Good performance from the young man showing he has potential to be something big in the future. (7/10)

Alexandra Daddario: Annabeth one of the friends on the mission who keeps is also miss state the obvious. Good supporting performance but the character is nothing more than just a pretty face. (5/10)

Douglas Smith: Tyson the half-brother of Percy who is also a Cyclops. He struggles to fit in at first but Percy shows him kindness while the other pushes him out because he is different and clumsy. Good supporting performance getting most the laughs. (7/10)

Leven Rambin: Clarisse the one chosen to go on the mission as her competitive nature always keeps her one step ahead of Percy. Good performance offering up an eventual love interest for future films (I believe). (7/10)

chrissie

Jake Abel: Luke the returning half-blood who wants to take over after being abandoned by his father in the past. Good villainous role but brings nothing new to the character. (6/10)

Director Review: Thor Freudenthal – Good basic direction for an entertaining adventure film for kids. (6/10)

Adventure: The journey the characters go on is rather good, with good and bad stages that they always seem to get through. (8/10)

Fantasy: Pure fantasy trying to be pushed into the real world. (9/10)

Settings: Each setting doesn’t add too much to the story as it is the creatures that carry the story. (6/10)
Special Effects
: Poor effects for the sea scenes but the rest all comes off very well. (6/10)

Suggestion: You should try it, it is fun not perfect but enjoyable. (Try)
