Story: Percy starts when farmer Percy Schmeiser (Walken) finds his life’s hard work challenged by a giant corporation. They claim he has used the seed and they want a percentage of their work. When Percy’s lawyer Jackson Weaver (Braff) loses the case, his future is in doubt.
Now activist Rebecca Salcau (Ricci) offers to support him in a campaign trail against the big corporation. It sees them discovering other farmers who have suffered the same problems and in case that could change the system.
Verdict on Percy
Percy is a drama based on the real-life fight a small-town farmer took against a giant corporation. He faces financial ruin if he loses the case but finds himself getting a groundswell of support. The battle could change how the system is controlled or ruin the industry for the rest of the industry.
This is an engaging story following the lengthy court battles they faced. It shows how difficult the battle against giant corporation and how many challenges they face in the case. These types of movies are always great to watch. It has great performances throughout the movie.
Final Thoughts –Percy is a great story about facing the odds.
