People, stop what you’re doing and listen to Lianne La Havas sing No Room for Doubt, and then pre-order her new album Is Your Love Big Enough on Itunes. If you’re in Europe, it’s already available. She opened for Bon Iver’s December 2011 tour. I would time travel backward if I could.
English folk singer/songwriter La Havas is the new Corinne Bailey Rae, but with Feist thrown in, along with the lead singer from Alpha a decade ago. But its kindof rude to compare. I’ll go out on a limb and say she’s the new standard. She rocks a side ponytail and plays electric guitar. You can dig it.
