United Democratic Voice (UDV) party Matale District candidate Nandimithra Ekanayake highlighted that public trust in politicians has declined due to bribery and corruption, where personal interests overshadow public service.
Former MP, Minister and Central Provincial Council’s Chief Minister, Ekanayake added: “The United Democratic Voice party is committed to fostering a new political culture in line with the goals of the new Government. Our Matale team, comprised of diverse skills and religions, is a valuable asset for this fresh political approach. We are developing a strategy to garner public support for our new party.
