There’s no doubt your cycling friends will swoon over Pedersen Japan, or in other words the next incarnation of Danish-originating Pedersen bicycle. Devised in the mid 19th century, the Pedersen bike is the most famous for its hammock-style seat connected directly to the head tube. Offered by Vanguard Designs, Pedersen Japan is touted as suitable for smaller riders, given its frame is much smaller compared to its Scandinavian ancestor. The straight position of the rider combined with the hammock saddle reportedly eliminate the typical stress on hands and arms while riding a bike, making it more amateur-friendly. Outfitted with 24 inch wheels, Pedersen Japan comes with Shimano Nexus internal gear hub and roller brakes. ¥31622
