According to TOI, Amazon is considering the possibility of shipping goods to Israel, filling orders by Israelis, from its warehouse in the United Arab Emirates. Obviously this would only be for items supplied by Amazon rather than from third party sellers.
This would give Amazon a stronger foothold in Israel. It would also make shipping items to Israel faster and almost definitely cheaper.
If the only benefit to Israelis from the peace deal, the normalization agreement, with the UAE is better and cheaper shipping from Amazon, dayeinu!
The only question it raises if that means Amazon won't open warehouses or business/operations centers in Israel, or if shipping from Dubai would be temporary until it gets the Israeli warehouse worked out?
