Some people wear hats for style, and others for bad hair days. Considering they look somewhat awkward on me, I wear them for bad hair days and/or those days where I really should wash my hair but put it off one more day. Okay, maybe two.
Anyways, the story behind this Missoni hat is somewhat similar to many high school, college, and twenty-something year old girls love stories. You know how we always want something because we can't have it? When something is so "off limits" it becomes tempting and desirable. Well, I would constantly see links to this hat on websites and blogs and every time I would click on it, it was sold out. If it was there on Shopbop, in my face, asking me out, I would never of given the hat a chance. So finally when I saw the hat had come back in stock, I made an impulse purchase. And although it is cute and did its job, like most things you want just because you can't have them, it's probably going to only be in my life for a few more weeks.
