My children do not use Facebook to share their lives, rarely are there photos or messages. News of them comes by phone or snaps, their Facebook page never tells me anything new.
Imagine my surprise when I went on Facebook during lunch, and saw what Sacha had written:
"Shots fired near Vincennes where I live..."
I nearly threw up.
On the phone he told me he was at school, far from home. I begged him not to go home this evening and stay with Chelsea.
....
The news is known, these terrorists are no longer. But what does tomorrow bring?
....
Watching some of the news it showed a hostage (a man) carrying a toddler running away from the grocery store, his face covered in fear. Seeing that I felt such anger and sadness. How frightening for that man to have a child in his arms in a situation like that. Then I realized that is how I felt today... fear.
Thank you for every single prayer sent and being said, especially for those who have suffered in this tragedy.
