New England Patriots Cut Newly Acquired Defensive Tackle
Veteran defensive tackle Mike Purcell, who recently signed with the New England Patriots, was released by the team after only three weeks. Purcell began his career as an undrafted free agent with the 49ers and eventually landed with the Broncos, starting 37 games in two years.
