Party City: Canada Untouched Amid U.S. Closures

Party City is clarifying reports that a global helium shortage led to the decision to shutter 45 of its U.S. stores with CEO James Harrison stating that Canadian stores are expected to remain untouched and that the company has made “significant in-roads” as it relates to helium supply.
