Political party leaders have come to a decision to conduct the debate regarding approval for the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Agreement on the Extended Fund Facility (EEF) next week. Three days have been allocated for this debate, from 26 to 28 April.
IMF board approved the EEF for almost USD 3 billion on 20 March, it is now for the Sri Lankan parliament to provide approval for the IMF Agreement.
Furthermore, the parliamentarysessions will resume after the Sinhala & Tamil New Year holidays after the 25 April.
