Paris Postcard Challenge: What Do You Want to See?

By Coreyamaro

Dancing Rue Mouffetard

Every Sunday morning, come rain or shine there is a musette... an accordion player, singing and dancing on rue Mouffetard.

Old French songs played on the accordion and the swirl of dancers adds another layer to the atmosphere... Ah, it makes me want to grab a red checked tablecloth off a bistro table, tie it around my waist, grab a beret, smoke a cigarette, dance and afterwards eat a lemon sugar crepe.

Every Sunday there is an open market at Place Monge in Paris, the musette sings louder than the asparagus and tomatoes.

Well not really.

But you know what I mean.

Bistro chairs and chalkboards,

One cafe after another.

Small talk, coffee served in real cups with real spoons...

Nobody walks around with a paper cup in hand.

Paris can be overwhelming with its beauty and endless "Oh my God, look at that" moments. It is impossible to take it all in with one leap, even after 27 years. Walking around Paris looking for something such as "Paris Postcards" allowed me to see Paris with different eyes, really look at the little details that are all around.

What Paris Postcard would you like me to find for you? Give me a challenge I am up for it.
