Paris in July

It’s Paris in July! I’ve been looking forward to this since we started planning our recent trip to France last winter. I knew I would still be writing French-themed posts through the month of July. I’m so excited to share them with the other Paris in July participants and to be inspired by their posts.

Paris in July is hosted by Karen and BookBath and Tamara at Thyme for Tea. I have to admit, I haven’t really figured out how it all works, yet, but I’m sure we’ll muddle through.

Coming Attractions

I still have several more days worth of photos to process and post to my blog including my favorite garden at Valmer, a visit to Villandry, an unexpected encounter with a historical poet, and five days in Paris!

I also still have a couple of books to review, one a true crime so gory that it attracted attention even in the jaded days of Occupied Paris during World War II and the other the remarkable story of the first giraffe in France.
