Paris Hilton on Damage Control After Anti-Gay Remarks

Posted on the 23 September 2012 by Silyasa

A few days ago, an audio clip of Paris Hilton was released wherein the 31-year-old heiress was heard calling gay men “disgusting” and even called them out as “the horniest people in the world”. Soon, the clip spread throughout the internet and the socialite received major backlash for her candid statements. She, however, had already issued an apology via GLAAD last September 20.

The said audio clip supposedly contains a recorded conversation from a taxi cab she rode in New York last week. While speaking to a pal, the hotel heiress was recorded to have said some horrible things towards gay men, even referring that most of them “have AIDS”.

In her statement, Paris said, “I always have been and always will be a huge supporter of the gay community. I am so sorry and upset that I caused pain to my gay friends, fans and their families with the comments heard this morning.”

She further clarifies, “I was having this private conversation with a friend of mine who is gay and our conversation was in no way towards the entire gay community.”
