Paris Hilton is getting married! This may not be her first engagement, but any time someone finds love that they believe in, it's celebration-worthy! The ring is amazing, and she appears to be over the moon in love. That's Hot!
In 2020, Paris once again allowed cameras into her life. There was a documentary about her life that was filmed for YouTube called "This is Paris." In the doc, Paris calls her previous work in front of the camera a character built to disguise her real self. She places a lot of blame for her inability to trust enough to let people in on a trauma-filled youth. A large departure from the over-the-top spoiled girl that we met in the aughts.
This same inability to trust has likely been destructive to her past forays into love. Love, however, has returned to Paris's life and we are thrilled to see love conquer all! Just days before her 40 th birthday, Paris said a resounding yes to her now fiancé Carter Reum.
"I am excited about this next chapter and having such a supportive partner," Paris, who announced the news on Feb. 17, told Vogue of her exciting engagement. "Our relationship is one of equals. We make each other better people. He was absolutely worth the wait!"

THE RING
This massive Emerald Cut beauty was designed by jeweler Jean Dousset - the great-great-grandson of famed French jeweler Louis Cartier. Paris posted a video of the painting that was part of this stunning ring's design. I hope she also got to keep the painting because that would be an amazing keepsake as well!
In an interview during an On Air with Ryan Seacrest appearance, Paris flashed her dazzling diamond and gave some of the ring's backstory. The inspiration was the La Palette café in Paris, the ring is called "The Paris." She said that it has a beautiful love story.
She continued: "I'm so obsessed with it...it has like 15 diamonds going around and then inside it has a 'P' with a sapphire."
The Café La Palette is listed as a Historic Monument, historically frequented by artists including such names as Cezanne, Picasso, and Braque. In current times, it has become very popular with Parisian youth and those visiting The City of Lights.
On her own website, she said that it was "Influenced by both classical and art nouveau motifs, it is framed by forms that resemble the vaulted glass ceiling of the Grand Palais."
Seems like the ring is a love song to Paris, both the City and the woman. That is pretty amazing.
